The Cliffs Corporate office serves all seven of our vibrant communities ranging from Lake Keowee to Asheville, NC! We are currently seeking an out-going, dedicated individual to join our membership team.

The Membership Coordinator is responsible for supporting the membership sales, processing, tracking and orientation for all membership categories. We offer partnership approach leadership and premier training. The Cliffs has endless opportunities for growth, and we take pride in assisting our staff meet their personal and professional goals.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Coordinate new member acceptance, activation, and orientation procedures
  • Respond to members’ requests for information and assistance in a timely manner; make appointments, arrange for services, provide direct service when necessary and feasible, and solve problems.
  • Follow-up to assure satisfactory service delivery.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of all membership offerings, plan, and rules to provide accurate information to members and staff
  • Track and maintain membership data.
  • Handle membership information in a confidential manner
  • Prepare all collateral and documentation for review and approval for all membership programs for the club in accordance with membership policy and procedure.
  • Assist Club Marketing Team in communication efforts.
  • Coordinate the production of periodic membership reports
  • Coordinate database management, integrity audits, and problem resolution for multiple membership databases.
  • Interface with club management and staff, and all club personnel to enhance awareness of the club's membership needs and objectives; to solicit support for the attainment of these objectives
  • Attend all staff meetings and general employee meetings.
  • Educate staff managers within the organization about the membership offerings, plan, and rules.
  • Contribute to membership sales efforts in cooperation with the other Club departments.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
  • The successful candidate will be passionate about exemplary customer service and will sincerely enjoy working with people.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office; web-based programs a plus
  • Must be organized and accurate
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Team player

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Constant and close visual work at desk or on a computer.
  • Constant sitting and working at desk.
  • Frequent verbal and written communication with staff and other business associates by telephone, correspondence, or in person.
  • Frequent lifting of folders, files, binders, and other objects weighing between 0 and 30 lbs.
  • Frequent walking and standing.
