STAR LRP is Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program, and is intended for individuals working in either a full-time substance use disorder (SUD) treatment job that involves direct patient care in a county where drug overdose death rates exceed the most current national average overdose death rate per 100,000 people, as reported by the CDC; or Mental Health Professional Shortage Area. As such, staff with 6 or more years of service would be able to have their student loans paid off (up to $250,000). Employees engaging in direct patient care qualify.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of a High School Diploma with patient care experience is required. Post-secondary training or education in related field with experience preferred.
• Position also requires excellent verbal communication skills; ability to remain calm in dynamic environment; commitment to providing a high level of care to patients of all ages, excellent customer service skills and a reliable & dependable attendance to work profile.
