Position Summary
Selling Members on new items, filling voids with proper shelf placement of all items in VMC's portfolio, GM/HBC/Specialty Foods. Presenting and selling all VMC Programs and all promotional events. Participate in planning and resetting Member stores as directed.
Position Responsibilities
Supervision and physical duties of all activities related to VMC products at store level.
Work with broker and vendor third party representatives to accomplish store reset activities, remodels and new store set up. Help coordinate and implement store resets from start to finish including planograms, floorplans, and shelf allocations.
Assist in training and development of GM/HBC/Specialty Foods in-store personnel.
Recommend products, product lines and promotional activities and analyze slow sellers.
Position Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
5 Years Merchandising Experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills with dedication to detail.
Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Ability to operate within a team concept.
Basic computer skills.
Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
Perform bending, squatting, reaching from floor to 6 ft.
Walking, standing and able to lift 50 lbs.
Able to operate circular saw and cordless drill.
Ability to sell. **A background in GM/HBC/NOS is a plus.
Overnight Travel Required
