MILL POSITION OPENING AT KEMPTON MACHINE WORKS INC. WE ARE A MACHINING/FABRICATION SHOP THAT PROVIDES CUSTOM PARTS TO MANY COMPANIES ACROSS MANY INDUSTRIES IN THE HEART OF ORANGE COUNTY. THE MAJORITY OF THE WORK WE DO IS LOW QUANTITY, FAST TURNAROUND, AND CUSTOM-MADE TO THE APPLICATION. THIS MAKES OUR SHOP A VERY DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT WITH A WIDE RANGE OF PARTS AND PROJECTS COMING IN.
WHETHER YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET OUT OF A BORING SAME THING EVERYDAY JOB OR IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO EXPAND YOUR SKILLSET AND LEARN NEW THINGS, THIS IS THE PLACE TO DO IT.
WE ARE SEEKING SOMEONE WHO CAN WRITE THEIR PROGRAMS, DO THEIR OWN SETUPS, AND RUN THEIR OWN PARTS OF A HAAS MILL VF4 OR VF1.
REQUIREMENTS:
* READ AND INTERPRET PRINTS
* WRITE PROGRAMS WITH CAM SOFTWARE
* TOOLBOX WITH NECESSARY SETUP AND INSPECTIONS TOOLS
* KNOWLEDGE OF CUTTING TOOLS / INSERTS
* KNOWLEDGE OF TOOL / WORK PROBING IN HASS MACHINES
BONUS: MAKE PRINTS, PROGRAM 4 AXIS, MANUAL MACHINING EXPERIENCE, CNC LATHE PROGRAMMING
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OF A MIN OF 5 YEARS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
