Shift/Pay: $16.35---$25.34/hr. (based on their training, certifications and experience)
Tenure: Temp-Perm 1year
Nondestructive testing technicians and quality control technicians are the scientists and detectives of the manufacturing world, making sure objects and parts are not compromised so they can continue to perform their functions. NDT Techs supports manufacturing by processing and interpreting NDT inspections on production and new product introduction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process and inspect investment castings to customer specifications
- Cross train in all methods of NDT (VT, PT, RT-digital, UTT) used internally
- May perform rework as needed
- Train other employees in NDT techniques-when qualified and directed by Responsible Level 3
- Perform audits (internal and source)
- Interface with production to provide necessary NDT support levels
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

- 4 years Level 2 experience in at least one of the following NDT disciplines preferred: X-Ray, FPI, Visual Inspection
- Achieve and maintain internal Level 2 certifications per SNT-TC-1A and customer requirements
- Must become trained to all certifications if hired
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- General knowledge of other NDT disciplines a plus
- Experience with Investment Castings
- Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions and specifications.
- Ability to write technical correspondence in precise and concise verbiage.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as inverse square law and other NDT related skills. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Metric measuring/unit knowledge preferred.

Salary: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission pay
