Join us and operate press brake machinery to produce a variety of parts, all of which must meet the dimensional specifications of the engineered drawings. This position has the opportunity to work independently and alone. Precision, pride and passion are key to this role. Check out the position:

TIG Welder Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate hand-welding equipment to join metal components, or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products
• Ability to read work orders, blueprints, instructions, formulas, and/or processing charts to ensure precise and accurate welding in agreement with the customer’s design specifications
• Identify non-conformances during inspection of component parts and properly document such non-conformances.
• Communicate and problem solve with others in a reasonable and professional manner and work effectively in a team environment
• Maintain and keep welding equipment in good working order - free of debris and perform proper maintenance
• Maintain clean equipment, tools, and work area
• Follow established safety procedures and work safely all day
• Follow all relative ISO 9000 procedures
• Record an accurate log of job times and specifications for audit reports
• Work 1st shift of Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM plus OT!

TIG Welder Knowledge/Education:

• Minimum of one year of welding/fabrication experience with certification in MIG/TIG welding. GTAW and GMAW welding abilities required
• TIG Welding experience on 1/16" aluminum and stainless steel to 1/2" thick
• Understanding of distortion control
• Ability to accurately read, interpret, and fabricate from manufacturing and/or customer provided blueprints to meet welding specifications
• Ability to accurately read weld symbols and pass all weld tests is required.
• Ability to weld within tight tolerances
• Ability to communicate properly with team members and staff at all levels in order to manufacture a high-quality product

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
