Maine Medical Partners, a MaineHealth member, currently has an opening for an Experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) interested in joining our busy Urology Practice, minimum of 2 years of APP experience. This is a full time position spilt between Maine Medical Partners Urology in South Portland, Maine and Stephens Memorial Hospital Norway, Maine once fully trained. Call is in office; no nights or weekends.

Maine Medical Partners' Urology Program is committed to providing comprehensive, state-of-the art care for the evaluation and management of adult and pediatric Urologic disorders and diseases. We are the largest team of urologic specialists in northern New England with a breadth of subspecialty care unrivaled in the region and we have the highest urologic volume of any practice or hospital in the region.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Minimum of 2 years of APP experience preferred.
• Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Skill in case management, time management, problem solving, crisis intervention, multitasking and other organizational matters.
• Ability to make responsible decisions within scope of practice.
• Strong computer skills with skill in using computerized health information management system.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, clinical staff and the public.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
