JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE: The Office Admin & Operations Support will provide administrative support, greet and direct visitors, answer and respond to calls, assist with procurement of supplies, data entry, as well as coordinating office and plant activities. This Administrator position ensures smooth running of our company’s office & plant, contributing to driving sustainable growth.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Organize Orangeville events including social events and holiday planning
  • Maintain Vending Machine and cash reconciliation
  • Run errands as needed
  • Maintain employee uniform orders/locker assignments
  • Reception; managing both phones and visitors
  • Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post
  • Support staff with data entry tasks as assigned
  • Job Yield sheet entry and analysis
  • Purchase Order entries
  • Support production, quality and finance departments for inventory and purchasing needs
  • Office supply purchasing and inventory for both Orangeville and Chicago offices
  • Assist with managing agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management
  • Assist with organizing meetings and taking minutes for the team, management, and executives
  • Provide administrative support to staff where needed
  • Provide support/backup for People & Culture Specialist
  • Conference room management
  • Support the operations team on customer and vendor correspondence and requesting paperwork needed
  • Retrieve, sort, and dispense mail
  • Various projects as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and data entry principles
  • Knowledge of procurement and supply chain fundamentals
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and applicable office software
  • High school diploma; degree in office administration or relevant field is preferred
