Equivalent Experience

This position will start off part time and then transition to full time. This is a new position at the company and they want to figure out how best to utilize this candidate before full time.

Description:

  • Document disciplinary warnings regarding attendance
  • Assist in LOA tracking
  • Responsible for the administrative support of the day-to-day business operations.
  • Assist with new hire orientation, temporary training for new hires.
  • Assist with NuStore – orders and processing
  • Assist with setting up training on Kiosk computers, as well as SuccessFactors.
  • Assist with benefit enrollment
  • Assist with filing (personnel files, etc.)
  • Order office supplies / kitchen supplies – organize weekly and compile supply list
  • Answering switchboard and front lobby traffic (visitors)
  • Create “New Hire” packets and New Hire orientation folders
  • Distributions to employees –incoming mail and distribute, scan invoices to accounting and plant information (daily) – send accordingly
  • Assist with special luncheons, cookouts, events, OM’s meetings
  • Assist with Birthday/Work Anniversary Celebrations; Create birthday /retirement etc. cards for teammates – monthly report to supervisors
  • Maintain and order new uniforms – track shoes anniversaries
  • Assist with fundraiser campaign and company sponsored events
  • Active member of Appreciation Committee
  • Maintain/update plant/office bulletin boards throughout the plant weekly
  • Assist with the Nucor Scholarship Program for plant
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, conference rooms, and front office mailroom weekly.
  • Assist HR/OM with reports and all other duties assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES:

1. 1-2 Years of Strong Admin work (In the last 3 years)

2. Strong communication Skills

3. Prior Manufacturing Environment

4. PREFERRED - HRIS experience
