Job Summary
The Community Service Programs Coordinator serves as the primary organizer of the Girls Who Code club offered by Schoolcraft College. The program coordinator is responsible for oversight of the Girls Who Code program, including: registration, management of waivers, onboarding, scheduling facilitators and volunteers, implementation of safety protocols, marketing and promotion, and parent communications. The coordinator will also plan special events including guest speakers and the end of the semester banquet. The coordinator serves as the primary contact with the Girls Who Code headquarters and will provide communication and information according to their procedures.

Job Duties
1. Coordinate the Girls Who Code program according to the Girls Who Code policies and procedures.
2. Uphold Schoolcraft College policies and procedures.
3. Manage and organize program registrations and waivers.
4. Coordinate end of the semester banquets.
5. Recruit and onboard volunteers / facilitators.
6. Supervise club meetings on Saturdays.
7. Secure room requests and catering services accordingly.
8. Provide Girls Who Code reports for grants and/or enrollment as requested.
9. Develop and manage marketing and promotion for Girls Who Code.

Required Qualifications
1. Minimum three (3) years experience working directly with students within the K-12 sector.
2. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
3. Experience providing a safe environment for learning.
4. Ability to plan large scale events.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Demonstrated history of commitment and reliability.
7. Willingness to work Saturdays

This position has flexible office hours to conduct administrative responsibilities associated with the program.
