JOB SUMMARY:

The Onboarding Specialist ensures that all applicants have successfully completed the pre-employment onboarding process; resulting in the issuance of an employee EID (employee id number). Also responsible for ensuring that internal transfers complete the onboarding requirements for successfully transferring to a new position and/or location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Handles incoming calls relating to the onboarding process
• Initiates and makes outbound calls to applicants relating to onboarding process and/or documents received while keeping close contact with applicants onboarding
• Process and quality check employment eligibility verification through Form I-9 and/or E-verify and file accordingly
• Verify applicant successfully completed the pre-employment drug screen; follows up with the applicant as needed
• Verify applicant successfully completed the pre-employment background check; follows up with applicant as needed
• Process completed applicant(s) within system requirements
• Process and verify applicant successfully is associated through vendor agencies
• Process non-completed/disqualified applicant(s) within system requirements
• Follow up with applicant(s) to complete onboarding process
• Process and quality check received employment eligibility documents and required identification forms
• Set up personnel file, scan and drop accordingly to file

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in onboarding- In home care experience preferred but not required
• BA degree preferred
• This position will require a valid California ID or Driver’s License
• Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to background check, physical etc.
• If required to drive, candidate must possess proof of valid insurance and registration
• Must be at least 21 years of age to drive for People's Care
