Overview: Responsible for the daily operations of the both the EMG brands customer service and account management. Provides first- line support to customers.

This is a remote position. We do require the candidate to be able to work hours in the Pacific Time Zone. Hourly rate will depend on the location of the candidate.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Answer questions and resolve issues for both our external and internal customers
  • Work in a remote team that supports our external customers, while supporting internal customers in various branch locations.
  • This position is expected to grow into a leadership position where you will transition employees and customers to working online, while building the processes and procedures for our Virtual Customer Service Team.
  • Process new loans and post payments
  • Troubleshoot errors or issues with the website or system with the IT staff
  • Work on the phone, in e-mail and within a chat system to communicate with customers.
  • Answer the phones and transfer calls accordingly
  • Develop a working relationship with all other Departments.
  • Continuously look for new and innovative ideas to improve our business and help us grow
  • Provide operational support through working with other departments to solve issues that develop
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.

  • Have a strong financial and/or Customer Service background. Have customer service experience specific to financial account handling (loan/credit card/banking, etc)
  • Experience servicing customers through phone and online (chat, e mail)
  • Strong writing skills. Courteous, friendly, professional, efficient and grammatically correct.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a pleasant phone demeanor
  • Be able to work independently as well as take direction
  • Leadership experience a strong plus.
  • Call center experience a plus.
  • Experience with results reporting, as well as coaching and development of others.
  • Be able to think outside the box to find solutions to issues and streamline processes
  • Be proficient in all Microsoft programs particularly Excel and Word

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
