Utilizing strong attention to detail, you will conduct a technical review of the data provided for marketing collateral, analyze findings to uncover trends and utilize this analysis to enhance the best practices of the Global Product team. When a technical review is completed, formulas should be reviewed, sourcing confirmed, and quality of the data is reviewed relying on existing information. In addition, you should be able to evaluate the saved source documentation to complete their review and should determine a representative sampling that should be checked during their review that ensures a high level of accuracy.
The incumbent will also aid the workflow within the department by completing data-driven routine and ad hoc projects.
Principal Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Investment Product Analyst and Specialist team to help implement data record retention standards and best practices within the Global Product team.
  • Conduct a variety of data checks on the data provided for external use with the goal of minimizing the risk of erroneous data being used on marketing materials.
  • Work as a liaison to the Quantitative Compliance (QC) team, in order to identify ways to minimize errors found through the QC review of marketing materials.
  • Lead quality-focused improvements in Global Product's processes.
  • Support with generating the backup for product-related materials including but not limited to sales ideas, presentations, and attribution letters.
  • Develop and provide system training on reporting tools as needed.
  • Assist with quality assurance testing of systems, reports and processes as needed.
  • Participate in projects when required.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience, with a minimum 2-5 years' experience in investment marketing and communications, with focus on data analytics preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks in a high pressure and deadline driven environment.
  • Working knowledge of the following analytical tools recommended: Excel, Morningstar Direct, FactSet, SPAR, SharePoint, and Bloomberg (Point/Port).
