Optometric Assistant Job at Saline Optometry
We are a busy and growing LOCAL optometry practice searching for an energetic optometric technician to join our team located in downtown Saline and Chelsea. At Saline Optometry and Chelsea Eyeglass Co., we pride ourselves on giving each patient passionate and personalized care. Our ideal candidate would be motivated, detail oriented, and share our dedication to excellent customer service.

Job summary: The optometric technician is responsible for greeting patients, assisting the doctor by conducting screenings and testing prior to the examination, and inputting information into electronic health record. The tech should also be available for further tests that are ordered. Preliminary testing includes taking a detailed medical/family history, stereo, color, intraocular pressures, autorefraction, acuities, and may include retinal photos, OCT (optical coherence tomography), visual fields and ERG (electroretinogram).
Most of our staff is cross trained therefore multitasking and the willingness to perform other jobs in the office may be necessary.
This position is a full-time position, and time will be split between the two offices.
NO Weekends required!
