Position Type: Full Time- Hourly

The Packer will be responsible for inspecting bottles for defects, packaging bottles, managing minor downstream issues, moving corrugate around as needed (stacking boxes), applying labels/stickers, managing robot cells as needed, and minor cleaning of the production area.

The ideal candidate will be dependable and have the flexibility to work any shift required and overtime as required.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment

• Ability to read and understand basic English and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

• Ability to complete required production and scrap reporting.

• Ability to effectively understand safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping and other job requirements.

• Ability to perform elementary addition and subtraction for production and scrap reporting as necessary.

• Ability to keep boxes in numerical order and ensure that the proper amount of boxes is maintained.

• Able to apply common sense reasoning to all safety instructions and requirements.

• Must be able to work overtime as required.

Education, Training and Experience:

A High School diploma, or GED diploma is preferred, but not required.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for extended periods of time. Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Reach with hands and arms above head. The employee is frequently required to walk, talk, hear, smell, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, and crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to focus

Working Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts, well-guarded open flame operations.

The employee can be exposed to various non-hazardous fumes, solvents or airborne particles.

The employee occasionally works in cramped or high, precarious places.

Regularly works around and near operating forklifts in the aisle ways.

The noise level is the work environment is usually loud, e.g., 82dB or more in production area.

Eye protection, hearing protection, and other PPE is required and provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.48 per hour
