Blazerworks, in partnership with the Granite Falls School District, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Paraprofessional to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Support teachers and students in the classroom by providing assistance with instructional activities
- Assist students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, math, and other subjects as needed
- Support students with special needs, providing individualized attention and accommodations
- Collaborate with teachers to implement behavior management strategies and promote a positive learning environment
- Help supervise students during lunch, recess, and other non-instructional times
- Assist with maintaining classroom materials and resources
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and provide appropriate support
