PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER (PT AND FT) Job at City of Inglewood
Under close supervision, clean and maintain streets, alleys, parks, abandoned buildings, properties, and other shared community areas. Duties include but are not limited to collecting and removing garbage, debris, and weeds throughout the community; performing lawn maintenance, weed removal, and sprinkler maintenance; operating tractors, power hand tools to remove tree branches and other unsightly material from city grounds; repair fences and securing building to discourage illegal entry into unsafe areas; and cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment and machinery used to perform essential job duties.
Qualifications
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, AND six months experience landscaping parks or trades maintenance. Must have and maintain a valid CA driver's license.
Special Requirements
Must be COVID vaccinated.
Miscellaneous Information
Current part-time employees shall have priority in filling the current full-time positions. PT assignments are 28 hours per week up to 56 hours per pay period.
