JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains food service department accounts receivable and sales records for the school district.
Process monies and verifies daily deposits vs. cash reconciliation report for district.
Assists with the determination, eligibility, verification process and bookkeeping procedures of free and reduced meal applications/benefits in the National School Lunch Program.
Prepares schedules of payment to the Town Treasurer for accounts receivable, cash sales to student and adults, and state and federal reimbursements.
Maintains monthly inventory records and prepares information for state report.
Processes payroll and keeps time sheets and data pertaining to payroll.
Prepares billing of inter-departmental and outside functions.
Acts as a liaison between students, faculty and food service staff during Director of Food Service absence.
Attends scheduled meetings and professional development training as required and assigned by Director of Food Service.
Performs all other related duties as assigned by the Director of Food Service.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
