Reineke Ford Lincoln of Findlay is looking for a Parts Dept. Manager to join our leaderships team!
This is a rare opportunity to work for a busy dealership whose main priority is to have happy customers being served by happy employees.
Qualified applicants will have prior management experience in an auto parts dept.
This position interacts daily with Customers, Parts Associates, Service Managers, Service Technicians, Service Advisors, and Sales Consultants.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sales and customer service skills if working with the general public
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Mathematical skills to help manage the inventory, pricing and estimates
- Problem-solving skills to deal with parts inventory issues
- Previous mechanic or car sales experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes loud environment
- Leadership skills to keep the parts department running smoothly
- Product knowledge to ensure they identify parts correctly and recommend the needed parts
DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Monitoring the current parts inventory
- Pricing parts to maintain profitability
- Receiving parts, including placing them into inventory and properly labeling them
- Helping customers find and purchase the correct parts
- Overseeing special orders
- Collaborating with service managers to ensure all parts are available for repair jobs
- Hiring, supervising and training parts department staff members
