PRN Schedule - Night Shift (7p-7a)

We are seeking a Patient Sitter - PRN (night shift) for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary:

• You will work under the supervision and guidance of a staff nurse to provide observation of patient(s).
• You will observe for a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff members.
• You will observe patients for any behavior that could indicate potential problems and alert nursing staff immediately.
• You will provide emotional support to patients.
• You will respect all aspects of confidentiality for patients.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of Patient Sitter training and orientation
• Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patients, guests, and other employees
• CPR certification required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training recommended
