Payroll Clerk-Skyline Mine
FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt Salary
Location: Skyline Mine
OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for the hourly and salaried payrolls at the Skyline Mine. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payrolls.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Reconcile daily timecard punches- Enter all exceptions into Ceridian Dayforce payroll system (direct deposit, tax forms, garnishments)
- Review payroll registers for accuracy and adjust if necessary
- Assist with compiling and processing bi- weekly bonus
- Coordinate contractor timesheets if applicable
- Must maintain professional standards regarding sensitive and confidential information.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or equivalent work experience preferred
- Previous Ceridian Dayforce experience will be considered a plus
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
- Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision
- Proven competent organizational, computer and analytical skills
- Proven proficiency in Word and Excel programs
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
