Here is what we ask you to do:

You will be asked to visit doggies, kitties, bunnies, (and occasionally chickens!) for 30 minutes at a time in the neighborhoods of Richmond, San Pablo, El Sobrante, Pinole, and Hercules, where you will provide them with feeding, litter box cleaning (for cats), light walks (for dogs), and playtime and cuddles. You will also be responsible for driving yourself from visit to visit (usually 15 minutes or less between visits), and checking in with clients after each visit with brief text updates and pictures. We use several apps and online systems to manage client communications and scheduling, so you will need a smartphone to be used while you are working. We provide extensive hands-on training to get you started, ongoing training in pet care and pet first aid, and constant support while you're out working, so you will be well-prepared and learning a lot as you go! You will be an expert pet sitter in no time!

Did I mention this job requires you to play with puppies and kittens? That's the best part! :)

Some basic job requirements:

• US citizens or legally authorized to work in the US for at least the next 12 months
• Over 18 years of age
• Able to pass a background check (We will also consider proof of rehabilitation)
• Local full-time resident of California
• Able to receive regular paychecks
• Access to use of an insured car during working hours (mileage and drive-time between jobs are reimbursed)
• Own a smartphone for use during working hours (phone usage reimbursed)
• Able to commit to this position for 12 months from date of hire
• Not required, but preferred: We try to make our social media and updates to clients as creative, professional, and fun as possible! If you are good at taking pictures, maintaining social media accounts, or creative or professional writing, please let me know in your application and feel free to share short videos or links to your own social media, blogs, or other creative projects!

How Much Can I Make?

Our pet sitter can make up to $1500 a month, or possibly more, while filling their dog, cat, puppy and kitten-cuddling needs each week! Hours vary each week, so this job is best for someone looking for supplemental income. We cannot guarantee a certain amount of income each week. However, we have many consistent clients, and are constantly growing!
