As the Photo/Video Production Manager at Diode Dynamics, you are responsible for leading the team responsible for planning, capturing, editing, and producing media content for marketing purposes, with extremely high levels of overall quality. You are responsible for pushing the media team forward creatively and strategically to ensure all digital marketing content is aligned with our objectives and goals. Job Description:
As the Photo/Video Production Manager at Diode Dynamics, you are responsible for leading the team responsible for planning, capturing, editing, and producing media content for marketing purposes, with extremely high levels of overall quality. You are responsible for pushing the media team forward creatively and strategically to ensure all digital marketing content is aligned with our objectives and goals. This position is full-time, in-office in St. Charles, Missouri.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Plan the production of all video and photo content, including the scheduling, organization, and management of all shoots.
- Lead and oversee content creation and strategy for new product launches, holiday sales, and promotions.
- Lead a team of two direct reports and brief them on the creative direction and deliverables for all assets.
- Provide feedback and approve all photos and videos.
- Oversee maintenance of all digital files, with excellent organization.
- Close communication with Brand Spokespeople and Marketing Director, in order to understand and meet goals.
- Contribute in finding new ways to promote our brand across markets, using media content.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our customers and their needs, in order to produce content that engages them in a direct and compelling way.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering and sales teams for product support, and to gain a thorough understanding of Diode Dynamics products and their features.
Formal qualifications:
- Must have at least one year of experience in photography/videography and video production.
- Must have at least one year of management experience.
- Must show capability to create extremely high-quality media content.
- Must be highly organized, and able to plan effectively to meet deadlines for shoots, etc.
- Must have experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro).
- Basic knowledge of After Effects and creation of animation and graphics is preferred.
- Knowledge editing and exporting in multiple formats (aspect ratios) for social media (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram) is preferred.
- Experience with Sony Cameras is preferred.
