Pier 101, located on the newly renovated Folly Beach Pier, is seeking to hire Server Assistants that are passionate and hardworking. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their F&B career!

POSITION SUMMARY:

Server Assistants are an integral part of a restaurant's staff. Server Assistants help support Servers in tasks such as clearing tables, carrying drinks, and expoditing food. Candidate must have a passion for providing stellar customer service.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take customers’ food and drink orders if the server is unavailable to.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner.
• Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials.
• Work closely with servers and restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience.
• Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested.
• Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English
• Ability to provide friendly, efficient and courteous service to guests.
• Ability to work under pressure, be organized, self-motivated and work well with others.

• The work environment includes high guest interaction; fast paced; high volume. Subject to extreme weather conditions including high heat, rain, wind, etc.
