Plastic surgery office is in need of a full-time surgery scheduler/patient coordinator for their Sandy Springs location. The Patient Care Coordinator acts as the liaison for prospective patients, guiding them through the entire process of consultation through surgery and follow up care. Excellent communication skills are necessary and the confidence and ability to be able to sell a treatment plan.
Job description:
-Perform pre-surgical consultations with patients to include defining surgical procedure and
treatment options for both cosmetic and medically necessary procedures.
-Quote and discuss surgical fees, payment policies and financing options with patient
-Schedule and coordinate all aspects of surgery, some pre-certifying and coding required.
-Responsible for collecting surgery deposits and balances in a timely manner.
-Follow-up with patients after their initial consultation to encourage conversion from consults to scheduled surgeries.
-Sending out patient satisfaction surveys.
-Working with physician in setting up speaking engagements and helping to promote the practice
Requirements:
-Minimum 2 years experience in a plastic surgery or related field.
-Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree preferred.
-Displays a high level of professionalism, and is a team player
- Knowledge of NexTech, Amazing charts, and Inform software is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
