A quality inspection supervisor is responsible for ensuring that products meet customer expectations and company standards while training and mentoring their team.
No quality inspection experience is necessary. We will fully train you.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Sets up new inspections/sorts/projects per customer/location contact requirements.
- Follows and maintains all policies, processes, and procedural standards.
- Communicates with Manager any issues that are brought up by customers.
- Ensures Team Leaders/Inspectors are consistently performing per specific job instructions, and following set breaks, safety rules and dress code as outlined.
- Ensures all paperwork related to the project(s) is filled out correctly and fully.
- Schedules all staffing and logistics requirements for assigned area.
- Adept at solving problems for the customer.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Minimum of 1 year of Supervisory experience in a MFG environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite
- Oral and Written Communication
- Interpersonal Skills
- Planning/Organizing
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to pass near vision assessment
- Standing for long periods of time on various surfaces
- Frequent bending
- Occasional repetitive work with hands
- Lifting < 50 lbs. frequently / > 50 lbs. infrequently
