Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age by date of hire.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability and desire to learn aquatic systems and chemical testing procedures associated with pool and splash pad systems.
- Ability to work variety of shifts to include hours as early as 7:30 a.m. and as late as 5:30 p.m. including weekends.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to operate back-pack leaf blowers and pool vacuum equipment.
- Perform physical labor safely in all types of local weather.
- Ability to work with and around the general public in a positive manner.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license by date of hire. New employees establishing resident status in the State of Oregon must obtain an Oregon driver’s license within 30 days.
- Ability to maintain acceptable driving record.
- Completion of a background investigation to the satisfaction of the City.
Available Schedules:
- Schedules vary to include hours as early as 7:30 a.m. and as late as 5:30 p.m. including weekends.
