Pay Class: Full Time/Non-Exempt/Temporary
Shifts/Availability: Night Shift/ 7pm-3:30 am
Pay Rate: $13.50-$14.00

About the YMCA of Greater Brandywine: The YMCA of Greater Brandywine (YGBW), an association of eight YMCAs serving Chester County, is a non-profit organization committed to nurturing the potential of every child, promoting healthy living and fostering social responsibility through life-changing programs for all.

Position Purpose: The Brandywine YMCA is seeking an experienced Facilities Custodian to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities for the benefit of our members, staff and community.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand and perform custodial functions
  • Maintain a safe environment for members, participants and general public while performing work duties
  • Assist with room set up and breakdown
  • Assist with occasional grounds maintenance tasks
  • Evaluate and report any health, safety or cleanliness issues to supervisor
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Three years of experience in the facility field required
  • Must have valid driver’s license
