Post-Production Manager for Documentary Job at Happy Productions
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented post-production manager to join our team. The post-production manager will be responsible for managing the editing process of a documentary film.
The post-production manager will be in charge of creating a comprehensive editing timeline and overseeing all aspects of post-production, including hiring and managing editors, sound mixers, and composers.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on documentary films and a strong understanding of the post-production process. They will be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Create a comprehensive editing timeline
- Backup all footage from existing hard drive to the cloud (Google Drive preferred)
- Manage and hire editors, sound mixers, and composers
- Coordinate with production team to ensure all necessary materials are available for post-production
- Oversee all aspects of post-production, including sound mixing and color grading
Requirements:
- Experience working on documentary films
- Strong understanding of the post-production process
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with Google Drive and other relevant post-production software
