Liberty POST is currently seeking a motivated and energetic Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to fill a part-time and/or full-time summer position in our Special Class Integrated Setting preschool. The SCIS program classroom operates five days per week with six special needs children and up to six neurotypical children.
Classroom hours are: 9:00am-11:30am and 12:30-3:00pm M-F.
Liberty POST has offered its clients a range of high-quality and individualized services since 1994. Backed by Liberty Resources Inc. and part of a large social services circle, originally POST was a speech-language practice in Syracuse NY, and has grown to provide a range of services throughout all of New York State. We employ over 500 professionals in a variety of settings and offer a collaborative team approach to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play. We are focused on the importance of a child’s natural learning environment, a family’s unique strengths and needs and the diverse population we serve.

Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- NYS teaching certification in B-2nd grade students with disabilities (or permanent certification in Special Education).
- Valid Driver’s License
- Early Childhood Experience –preferred
- CPR and First Aide certification preferred
- Health Insurance for those working 30+ hours/wk.
