Job Description:

This position is an Agile Product Manager on the Dealer Learning Management (DLM) product team which is part of the Dealer Network & Employee Engagement (DNEE) Product Line. The DNEE products play a critical role in managing our dealer networks, supporting dealers’ operations, and enabling dealers to take care of our customers and drive brand loyalty. The key application asset in Dealer Learning Management is STARS (Standardized Training and Resource System). STARS is the infrastructure for managing training for dealer, fleet and career entry employees for the Ford and Lincoln Brands globally. STARS also manages training for some Ford corporate employees when it relates to the training of dealer, fleet, and career entry employees. DLM has been running a multi-year project called STARS-XP to modernize the front-end experience and technology for Dealer Learners, Dealer Admins, and Ford Corporate Admins. The STARS-XP project completes in 2023 with full global deployment and decommission of the legacy front-end. Additional 2023 priorities include shaping the roadmap for migration to the Google Cloud Platform and modernization of the mainframe backend. Position Duties: • Works closely with the DLM Product Owner, stakeholders, and Product Team members to establish/contribute to product strategy while ensuring development teams understand this strategy • Facilitate Agile ceremonies with the product team and working sessions with the stakeholder group(s) by acting as a Scrum Master for the DLM space. • Work closely with product partners to understand their product vision and break it down into an actionable backlog for the development team. • Work hands-on with development team to ensure the backlog is populated with prioritized user stories for future iterations • Actively manage features and dependencies in and across product releases

Skills Required:

  • Strong Agile Project management capabilities • Proficient in using Rally (or similar Agile Project Management tool) to help drive a metrics driven approach for IT team • Strong communications, negotiation, and related skills • Strong facilitation skills to deliver collaborative strategies and solutions. • Capability to manage complex initiatives (integration, risks, issues, etc.) • Capability to formulate and communicate strategy • Ability to think innovatively to identify product improvements using data and or customer feedback • Ability to work independently and take initiative when solving unexpected problems • Ability to deliver under pressure • Ability to adapt communication style and approach

Skills Preferred:

  • Business/Systems knowledge with respect to Marketing Sales and especially Dealer Systems is a plus, • Previous experience with Learning Management Systems • Technical Background with exposure to coding/architecture • Experience in working directly with PDO teams. • Ability to provide IT expertise to deliver business strategies or recommend alternative solutions • Working knowledge of IT and Finance policy • Ability to bring technical experience together with business knowledge • Knowledge of Ford PDO expeditions and ability to lead teams in this model • Prior experience working with major programs/products involving multiple stakeholders or multiple regions

Experience Required:

  • Five or more years as a Product Manager or Business Analyst or Scrum Master • Hands on experience in Agile principles & practices

Experience Preferred:

  • 4+ years of progressive responsibilities in IT including experience with Agile Framework in support of Product Teams

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in an information technology related discipline

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
