Pro Staff has the scoop on a new job for you! We are hiring a full-time, temp-to-hire, Production Operator for a peat production facility in Aitkin, MN.
This company takes reed-sedge peat and creates products for the purpose of water remediation. The final product produced is used in the agriculture industry to assist the growth of food crop plants. Shift: Alternating 12-hours shifts (One month 6AM-6PM, next month 6PM-6AM ** Shift differential pay for the month on overnights **
Daily Job Duties:
Using a skid steer to load the harvested reed-sedge peat into the processing system. Monitoring the production line for any backups or clogs and resolving issues.
Keys to Success:
- Previous experience with operation of a skid steer is helpful but not necessary. Company is willing to train the right person if they are willing and have a positive outlook!
- Ability to climb ladders and work on a platform off the ground
- Able to tolerate a warm and dirty working environment
- Willing to adjust sleep schedule from month-to-month to ensure peak performance
