Title : Production Worker/Elevator Worker
Location : Brookston, IN 47923
Duration : 06+ Months Contract (possibility of extension)
Schedule : 1st Shift
Pay Rate : $ 19/hr.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Dump and load railcars and trucks.
· Operate a grain dryer, Assist with grain handling, General housekeeping duties, General maintenance, as needed.
· Commitment to Company’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures, as well as a commitment to uphold the Company Code of Conduct.
· High school education or equivalent preferred.
· Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), move up to 50 pounds, as well as the ability to wear a respirator. Willing to work overtime and weekends, if needed.
· Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed.
· Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude, ability to work near or around dry/liquid fertilizers.
· Ability to operate power industrial equipment, Barge loading (for Barge/Terminal locations), Deck Handing (for Barge/Terminal locations)
· Ability to work near or on water (for Barge/Terminal locations)
· Must be 18 years of age or older, valid Driver’s License
· Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
