Howard Fertilizer & Chemical Company is looking for a Production Worker to fill our Bag Dropper/Sealer Position.

Location: Groveland, Florida

M-F 7:30am- 4:30pm

Pay Rate: Hourly Wage $14.80/HR

Job Description: Bag Dropper/Sealer

Reports To: Operations Manager

Job Summary: This position will primarily be responsible for Operating the Bag Dropper/Sealer

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Comply with all Howard Fertilizers Safety Rules.
• Monitor and control the performance of the bagging machine.
• Assist machine operators in gathering production supplies,
• Insert bags into machine, allow machine to fill bag
• Assist in hand-packing and hand-stacking product/cases onto pallets
• Wrap pallets and move finished goods to warehouse
• Resupply packaging materials
• Provide accurate and relevant information to machine operator
• Learn the theory of operating and cleaning procedures and practices involved in the operation and equipment of the position
• Ability to learn new operations and equipment assigned by management
• Perform other job duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Physically handle the duties assigned, including cleaning
• Perform work in a safe and sanitary manner
• Work proficiently, neatly and accurately at the speeds required
• Perform the job duties resulting in a high-quality product
• Perform necessary routine cleaning and preventive maintenance
• Perform work independently as required
• Able to learn and perform various functions of the department to perform the essential functions
• Add other qualifications, knowledge, skills and abilities of the job
