Meg’s Loving Pet Care, a local Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Company, is currently hiring exceptional, very dependable pet sitters to join our amazing team. This position is fun and rewarding as you get to enjoy the outdoors, get exercise and be loved by amazing local dogs, cats and other animals!

**We are currently looking for sitters that can do mid day dog walks, vacation visits- am, mid, pm, and as needed visits. Our sitters must live in our local coverage area.( Bristow, Gainesville, Haymarket, or Nokesville).

Pet Sitter Responsibilities:

• Work weekdays, some weekends and holidays are a bonus and as needed visits vary based on our client needs.
• Enter the homes of clients and visit with their pets for varying lengths of time (usually 10-30 minutes each.
• Walk pets as requested
• Feed pets as requested
• Provide appropriate litter box and/or cage clean up as required.
• Check that pets have ample, clean water supply and refill as necessary.
• Check homes for accidents or damage caused by pets in the absence of their owners.
• Clean any accidents or damage discovered in homes of our clients. If visits take longer, just let owner, manager know.
• Communicate with owner, managers.
• Text, leave a note, email clients as requested.

Pet Sitter Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bristow, Gainesville, Haymarket, Nokesville resident is required.
• Must be available Monday- Friday 10-2:30 pm, holiday, weekend, am and pm visits are also available.
• Must have your own, reliable mode of transportation to perform the duties and responsibilities associated with this role.
• Must have your own reliable Smart Phone with internet access and data plan. Must respond to emails, texts, phone calls in a timely manner. Communication is key in our business.
• Must be ok with being an employee of the company. Taxes, etc. All employees will be put on our liability insurance & workmans comp policy.
• Able to follow detailed instructions
• Must be responsible, reliable, and very dependable
• Must be timely and punctual
• Must be compassionate about animals
• Must feel comfortable working with and interacting with both small and large animals
• Must be willing to walk and drive in all weather conditions
• Must be able to make at least a 6 month commitment, however longer is preferred.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
