ECS Learning Systems, makers of STAAR MASTER® and a leader in supplemental curriculum development, is looking for someone with classroom experience and strong project management skills to coordinate, assign, QA, and track workflow for a team of 10–15 contracted educators.

Location:

  • Spring Branch, TX
  • Flexible in-person and remote work environment

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and outlined strategy for assigned workstreams
  • Make assignments and direct a team of 15-30 professional subcontractors, evaluate work, and coordinate daily deadlines and quality of work
  • Ensure style and quality of workstreams are met
  • Track and ensure goals for each stage of the project are met
  • Track overall project quality, delivery, and predictability
  • Maintain all project tracking tools, including but not limited to:
  • project scheduling tools
  • status reports
  • risk, issues, action plan, and decision trackers
  • Track all key dates of assignments of subcontractors, keeping an eye on output and workload of subcontractors
  • Analyze project risks and help develop mitigation plan with Program Manager
  • Follow project communication plan with team and key stakeholders and ensure proper execution of said plans
  • Ensure coordination of efforts of all cross-functional team members in consultation with Program Manager/project stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain a highly cooperative environment, demonstrate flexibility, and foster collaboration across all areas
  • Submit project deliverables and ensure that they adhere to quality standards
  • Provide content expertise, conceptual leadership, mentoring, and content quality oversight for workstream staff
  • Ensure all deliverables are ready for delivery, appropriately reviewed, and adhere to style guidelines
  • Support other areas of the business as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination, educational publishing, content management, and/or a combination of the above-listed responsibilities (Required)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Required)
  • Understanding of curriculum standards (Required)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Excel and Word)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively individually and with a team

Compensation and Hours:

  • $45,000-$50,000 per year
  • Full-time (40 hours/week)
