We have an immediate need for a Programmer Analyst at a leading manfacturing company. This is a full time direct hire permanent position and the schedule is hyrid/remote.

Job Duties Include:

• Work in conjunction with the IT Business Analyst to develop program specifications, program development, testing, user acceptance and implementation utilizing Best Programming Practices and in accordance with the company’s SDLC methodology
• Confers with user groups to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems and develop specific input and output requirements such as format of data input, how data is to be summarized and report formats
• Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs
• Ensures that the ERP databases are running efficiently through database structure, indexes, and stored procedures and allocation of disk space to specific table structures
• Troubleshoot issues that arise relating to the ERP databases. Be able to identify problems either within databases or within processes that are impacting applications. Be available for database support whenever needed
• Administer automated/scheduled reports and data extracts and support end-users with ad-hoc queries
• Efficiently coordinates resources to meet projects in-house vs. outsourced work management requirements. Evaluates and modifies business practices for improvements or changes in system requirements
• Provides technical support to all users by resolving system problems, documenting problem solutions and answering questions pertaining to the system and processes
• Assists in establishing and implementing standard reporting procedures to management
• Plans and prepares technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of program development
• Prepares time and cost estimates for completing projects
• Assists in the work of others to develop, test, install, and modify programs

Job Requirements Include:

• BA/BS in computer science, IS, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of computer software development, ERP and relational database experience.
• 2-3 years’ experience troubleshooting computer software issues.
• Ability to translate learned business knowledge into technological designs and solutions to business objectives.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, organizational, problem solving, and time management skills.
• Must have superior project management and organizational skills. Ability to build positive relationships and proactively develop team relations to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated experience working with one or more enterprise resource planning systems (ERP). Infor Syteline or Cloud Suite Industrial is a plus
• Extensive technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with hardware and software issues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
