Project Architect / Manager Job at ATSS Engineering, LLC
Overview
ATSS has a client in Birmingham, AL looking for a Project Architect/Manager with 5-10 years of experience (direct hire )
Have, at a minimum, a professional degree in architecture from an accredited university and 5-10 years of experience working in established architectural and/or design firms. Licensure is required.
Have a solid work history including experience in design development, construction documentation, and construction administration of public, commercial, healthcare, multi-family, and food service projects.
Be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office programs, as well as familiar with Adobe Creative Suite. Strong visual presentation and communication skills are required.
Have a strong background in designing structures to meet building and zoning codes, and other state and/or regional codes and ordinances.
Have a well-developed understanding of construction documents and the ability to review and correct errors in documents without supervision.
Have experience with the permitting and bidding processes.
Have a passion for creative design solutions and problem solving.
Have the ability to interact professionally with clients, handle engineering consultant coordination, and interface with contractors for design intent follow through.
Enjoy working independently, and/or in a team setting, and be excited to share knowledge and ideas while helping others improve their own skills and expertise.
Work quickly, effectively, efficiently, and within project timelines as either a design team member or project manager.
Bring a strong work ethic, sense of professionalism, and desire to constantly learn.
This is a salaried position, which requires a minimum of 40-hours of in-office presence per week.
