Project Delivery Manager

Rate: 50-60/hr

This role entails a mix of responsibilities from the Project Deliver Manager, Product Owner, and Scrum Master expertise. Some of the key focus areas for this job position:

Responsibilities:

Project Delivery Manager

• Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support the teams.
• Report Metrics to the leadership/Stakeholders periodically or when asked for to keep the communication open and transparent.
• Ensure milestones and other timeline markers for projects are maintained for both the team and stakeholder expectations.
• Drive release activity needs for all parties to ensure team, stakeholder, and customer communications are all handled properly for a smooth Go-Live.
• Own documentation around assigned projects within the team’s repository and contribute to the group’s overall process structure by providing feedback on how to improve aspects of our delivery and relationships to better serve the groups you interact with.

Product Owner

Be a Product Owner wherever required to elicit the requirements and finalize the MVP Scope and follow-ons. This will include activities like user story writing, backlog management, sprint management, and grooming with scrum teams all within a project management platform (i.e. Jira, GitLab).

Manage release needs by organizing team activities and communicating with stakeholders throughout the entire release process. Be a Release Manager when the Release needs to be organized and properly communicated with the customers to ensure smooth Go Live

Scrum Master

• Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
• Protect the team from external influence and be the team’s advocate
• Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
• Resolves team impediments
• Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
• Good working knowledge of common development frameworks a plus (i.e. Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Lean, Waterfall)
• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
• Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams

Experience, Tools and Certifications

• 3-4 years of Scrum Master & Product Owner experience
• Experience being a BA or a Technical background is a plus
• Knowledge of common project management platforms (Rally, Jira, Confluence, GitLab) a plus
• Scrum Master certification beneficial but not required – CSM, SSM, PSM, or CSPO
• Scaled Agile Experience/Certificate is a good add-on.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
