Job Summary:
The Smart Buildings Project Manager supports our commercial, operations and product teams by developing a highly skilled level of product knowledge, sales policies, and familiarity of departmental, interdepartmental and interplant procedures to achieve the highest level of support for our customers. This position will be based out of our Indianapolis or Richmond, IN locations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and monitoring large Smart Buildings projects from acceptance of PO through delivery of finished goods.
- Prepares various documents, and reports, software programs such as Word, Excel, and internal systems. Documents include: Processing POs, structuring products, order status update reports, labeling requirements, and inventory sheets. Professional correspondence to customers, manufacturing plants, and sales team in the form of email and phone calls.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Ensuring project deadlines are met.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience working across core business functions, such as marketing, finance, or sales
- 3+ years business to business experience
- Comfortable dealing with conflict and change management
- Education - Bachelors degree or Equivalent working experience
