POSITION TITLE: Project Manager DATE: December 29th, 2022

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
1 Coordinates all construction activity in assigned area. Reviews contract documents and requirements. Prepares and updates project schedules for contracting customers and/or subcontractors. Maintains database of active project issues. Serves as the primary contact with customers. Responsible for all project correspondence including but not limited to the following: schedules, RFI's, proposals, and daily reports. Attends all required project meetings.
2 Supervises Construction Engineers for project coverage on all islands and projects.
3 Responsible for profitability of all projects. Meets with construction engineers and foreman to determine manpower and equipment assignments. Coordinates all required training. Investigates and initiates new methods and cost saving procedures. Instills the highest quality standard with continuous improvements.
4 Provides all project billing information to contract administrator / project coordinator for proper billing and follow up to assure payment. Reviews cost data and provides forecasting information to determine manpower and equipment assignments. Conducts final project audit and review of project procedures to insure continual effort in improvement
5 Confirms material and equipment requirements. Coordinates with Construction Engineer for submittals and material orders. Schedules delivery to meet project requirements. Coordinates the maintenance and repair of equipment with maintenance department.
PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to read and understand equipment requirements and specifications.
Blueprint reading required.
Computer Skills: Strong background in computer applications. Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, AutoCad. Keyboarding skills sufficient to complete daily tasks in a timely manner and working proficiency with 10-key.
Licenses: Valid Hawaii driver's license and favorable traffic abstract required.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree (in engineering, science, industrial, technology, math, etc.) with 5 years minimum construction experience preferred. In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, 6 years minimum construction industry experience required.
