Onsite Position (possibility for some remote work but will mainly be onsite)

General Summary
Supports software applications and systems by investigating, designing, documenting and implementing new hardware and software. Works with customers and end users to understand requirements, coordinate resources, monitor timeline, and plan, track, and execute project plan. Analyzes user requirements and evaluates work processes. Prepares concepts for information system solutions and evaluates the cost-effectiveness of these concepts.

A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of a specialized information technology (IT) field plus working knowledge of other related IT fields. Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, IT professional position. Provides resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Contributes to the development of organization's goals and objectives. Works under limited direction; receives general instructions on new assignments. Work is evaluated upon completion. May provide limited technical direction and/or coordinate activities of other personnel. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Determines approach to solutions, plans schedule and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.

Technical Knowledge Requirements

• Professional level knowledge and experience planning, designing, developing, testing, and implementation of databases to meet business requirements
• Professional level proficiency of SQL, VBA, Python, R, or other relevant languages
• Professional level proficiency in query writing, stored procedures, and table/schema design
• Demonstrated prior experience with relational or non-relational database management, middleware/application administration and/or application delivery
• Experienced in performing data quality audits and or strategies
• Working knowledge of report creation (Access, SSRS, or other)
• Working knowledge of data extraction and manipulation techniques and relevant best practices

Collaboration
We are looking for someone who can work well in a team-oriented environment with the ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally within and outside of the group. In addition, you must have effective interpersonal skills for communicating technical information, building relationships, and resolving conflicts.

Customer Support
Experience providing customer support including collecting project requirements, configuring, administering, and debugging technical issues. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with peers and all levels of external and internal personnel, technical and non-technical.

Education:
Position typically requires a bachelors degree and 3-5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to this position.
