- Experience testing script, covering all these technologies like mongo dB , oracle, etc. in this platform
- We don’t have the skillset to write good scripts to cover existing code plus the new functionalities being pushed in every two weeks. We are looking for this for regression testing. If they don’t have it, we will see their experience in other projects that could be similar to this project as a guide.

Automation Testing skillset is number 1, the application they work on is .NET centric, Angular, Java Framework – all the technology should be relevant to their experience as well and no 3rd top skill- I guess more leadership here because we want this person to be more independent than just taking orders and writing scripts. We want this person to be more of a self-starter and look at our existing scripts and tell us where to improve and come up with a plan and execute that plan
- Tools: this role is to introduce new or modern tools to us. If this person has knowledge and success in using modern tools, than that is a plus
- We are not using much automation testing tools- has no knowledge of the existing ones. The technology they have is based off of 4 years ago so sorry cannot really answer this question. Thinks the bar here is low if you can bring in a candidate that knows knew technology and can help us. That would be a huge plus for us.
- No manual testing involved, we have manual testers
- The IT side of the QA experience and skills is where we are lacking
- We are open to purchasing new tools the candidate comes up with. This project is well funded for that so it is not a problem
- We are not using Selenium. We will lean on this candidates expertise to see if Selenium would be needed, same thing with QualityCenter etc.
- Angular, C# and testing background – tech leads may be able to answer more of the developer based questions.
- Candidates that do not have any development in their background is fine, as long as they can produce quality scripts. If this person does have prior develop experience than that is a plus. It is only a nice to have.
- We have a strong development team and we cannot keep up so we are good on that side. We need help on the QA side.
