The QA Tester will be ultimately be responsible for owning the testing of Tradeweb’s reporting infrastructure. Successful candidates must have excellent Quality Assurance and Control experience. The role requires proficiency in SQL and a strong ability to work independently and coordinate testing efforts with various groups including Development, Support, and Product.

Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts. There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Become the subject matter expert on how data flows through our Retail, Institutional and Wholesale systems to our data platform and how reports are generated off of said data
• Work with other teams to understand ongoing changes to make sure the impact to the data flow is known and tested
• Write test scenarios and test scripts based upon Product specification documents and business user interactions as well as create test scenarios based on understanding of systems in order to Integration testing, regression test, new functionality and stress/performance conditions
• Build test repository and document all test cases
• Create automated test cases where possible
• Document test progress and incident tracking
• Perform Functional testing of Trade Reporting Applications
• Execute test cases and execution suites
• Track issues found during SIT and throughout QA lifecycle
• Setup test environment and configuration files to perform integration testing

Qualifications

• 5+ Years testing experience

• Proficiency in SQL and experience in SQL query writing.
• Good understanding of Test Life Cycle and SDLC
• Good working knowledge of application integration and testing
• Good understanding of Fixed Income Markets would be helpful
• Hands on experience in testing trade reporting and/or billing systems is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree
