Perform inspection of aircraft engine parts, articles, and components to ensure product quality in accordance with AARs Business Management System to meet all current regulatory requirements and to meet or exceed AARs customers’ requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process incoming and outgoing material to meet AARs AS9120 and ASA-100 Business Systems Manual requirements, Customer Requirements and applicable regulations.
• Follow Regulatory and Industry guidance to establish sufficient traceability of products being inspected to help prevent the introduction of counterfeit and suspect unapproved parts into our inventory and/or our customer’s inventory
• Inspector may be required to review technical/regulatory data which may include but not limited to Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Maintenance Personuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, FAA Order, Code of Federal Regulations, etc.
• Ensuring that all work is performed / inspected to Purchase Order instructions, Repair Order instructions, Customer instructions, appropriate specifications, and standards, etc.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or four years related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
• Gen Pan Certificate (GEN FAM) desired
• Employee may be required to use a forklift, and employee may be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and comply with OSHA standards
• Available to work night shift
