Quality Control Technician Job at Haltec Corporation

RESPONSIBILITIES
- To determine the acceptability of products, sub-components, and raw materials at incoming, in process and final inspection stages by utilizing material specification sheet and specifications conformance
- Calibration of torque tools and pressure gauges
- Verify final inspection of all items assigned to Quality Control
- Verify production documentation
- Complete quality control checklist and calibration certificates
- Create labels and match with correct parts
- Verify parts per the machining engineer drawing and customer specifications
- Work closely with production leads and supervisors on quality scrap and outsourcing processes
- Aid in maintain an orderly flow of products throughout the production process in both assembly and machine shop areas
- Aid in maintain an orderly inventory system by properly replenishing both finished and in-process inventory locations
- Determine the proper count of in-process and finished products and materials
- Other responsibilities as determined by the Supervisor of the Quality Assurance Department
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have prior Mechanical experience.
- Experience using QC tooling such as thread gauges, calipers, optical comparators are preferred
- Experience using computer software and applications (AS400, Microsoft Office Applications, Etc.).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
COMPENSATION
No set rate: pay is dependent on experience and education.
