Quality Engineer
As the Quality Engineer, you will be key in collaborating with colleagues in enhancing current standards that will continue to improve product quality and processes.
Quality Engineer Details:
- Direct Hire position
- $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 /annually
- Salaried
- Lead collaboration to determine improvement plans intended to improve capability while empowering employees to implement best practices.
- Assist with improvements in Equipment Effectiveness through interactions with technical team members.
- Support all audit schedules, conduct internal audits.
- Develop internal audit plans, train those conducting the audits, and monitor the execution of the audit plan.
- Work closely with suppliers on new products, obtain protypes, and set up testing to conduct evaluations.
- Maintain Key Performance indicators.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Production personnel to determine the manufacturability of designs.
- Assist customers in developing part specifications while remaining cost effective.
- Resolve quality issues of capability, tolerance, and material related issues.
- Identify problems, examine solutions, implement action plans, and provide resources.
- Promote the use of appropriate problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and appropriate corrective action.
Quality Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Plastics, industrial/manufacturing engineering)
- Experienced driving continuous improvement.
- 3 years of experience in auditing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Effective communications, oral and written.
