Inspector/Packer
The Inspector/Packers inspects parts to meet quality standards and packs them in a box or bag or pallet.

Inspector/Packer
The Inspector/Packers inspects parts to meet quality standards and packs them in a box or bag or pallet.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect pots or trays for defects and remove parts that do not meet quality standards.
- Count items and records counts accordingly. Fill out production cards accurately.
- Pack items in boxes or bags or stack on a pallet. This may be done by packing items into a bag or box on a table that is transferred to a pallet.
- Sand items, when required, with hand sander to remove burrs and sharp edges.
- Label individual items, when required, either by hand or with an automatic labeler.
- Make and label boxes to match item being run.
- Sweep around former daily, perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Grind items when required.
- Perform all duties as required by supervisor
- Hand-eye dexterity is required to count stacked parts.
- Minimal math skills are required to record carton/container counts.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally
- Ability to follow company required safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Experience in a manufacturing setting.
- The Inspector/Packer is on his/her feet most of the day, sometimes standing on a platform about 4 feet high, at other times standing on the floor.
- Able to lift 15-35 pounds.
