We are a hard rock quarry with crushed drain rock, rip rap and pit run materials. Our variety of rock products available at this location are perfect for many uses including both commercial and residential projects as well as infrastructure projects such as road construction, railroads, or agriculture projects.

The ideal candidate will have a positive can-do attitude, be responsible and be willing to work in all types of weather conditions. Provides timely and accurate tickets to customers ensuring the smooth flow of traffic across the scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides excellent customer support to internal and external customers.
• Ensure that all money is collected and properly documented and sent to main office
• Ensure that Tickets are verified for numbers, dated and time accuracy.
• Maintains product knowledge necessary to answer customer questions.
• Performs housekeeping duties to ensure that scale house is clean and orderly

SUMMARY:
Accurately and reliably tickets trucks, and professionally interacts with customers. The scale operator/dispatcher is the first line of communication coming into the plant and is an effective gate keeper.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Keeps accurate records of scheduled loads, received loads and communication of possible trucking issues to correct individuals.
Cleans the scales: moving the hose and spraying out from under the scales to ensure accurate weighing.
Maintains a knowledge of the products on site and their location in order to direct the trucks and ensure the proper product is loaded.
Keeps customer service as a priority, insuring the operator knows the trucks are in the yard and keep them moving in an efficient manner

Read, write, and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions.
