R&D Process Control Technician

R&D Process Control Technician

As a R&D Process Control Technician, you will support Table Talk Pies R&D Team with collecting production data, analyzing batches, and monitoring the process for any deviance throughout all Facilities. Reporting directly to R&D Director and checking into the lab daily.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• To ensure the Gourmet pie production is being adhered to within specifications
• Assist in writing Standard Operating Procedures to help with the product production process
• Monitor production processes (including Dough, Filling, Production, Packaging), and report any deviances from Formulations or process.
• Conduct production tests and retain/maintain samples and data needed for analysis
• Collect, File and store all retain samples from the Quality Control Department and QA Filling workers
• To ensure that all In-process testing instruments are working properly such as (Bostwick, Refractometer, Thermometers) Handheld thermometer with an Extension would be needed for kettle checks.
• Create and develop a specification guideline sheet with data collected for solids and Bostwick testing or any other line of Quality defense including Oven Profile Specs.
• Participate in weekly plant process control meetings.
• Make sure Raw ingredients are within Specs (Checking fruit Quality and COA’s)
• Walk Through Guideline provided by R&D Manager from Start of process to Finish.
• Evaluate with microscopy questionable fillings that may be on hold
• Follow Directions given by R&D Director and assist the Department in Lab work, Samples and Data Entry.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
